We often receive annual prices from contractors of around $1,500 annually for 12 monthly services.
8 hours X 12 months = 96 hours per annum. For a fully qualified tradesperson, $1,500 divided by 96 hours is $15.62 an hour.
Sounds too good to be true.
Against my advice, I was advised to proceed with the cheaper quote.
The budget looked amazing when it was put together, though the actuals had an additional $40,000 for some items that were unnecessary and premature repairs This is what is described as Contractors race to the bottom.
